Our "Extended School": Clubs and Other Activities

We are now offering a number of ways to care and support children before and after school.

Breakfast Club

Operating from 8am to 8.45am, the breakfast club is available Monday to Friday during term. This is ideal for working parents and provides children with a chance to meet with their friends over a healthy breakfast. Contact Sandie on 01285 651133 for further details.

Clubs

We offer a variety of clubs throughout the year, including recorder, active games, art, ICT, drama and outdoor clubs. Look out for details in the newsletter.

On-line Learning

Using the portal, the children have access to an internet learning space every day of the year at home. These activities offer a wonderful opportunity for children to enhance their learning and to join their friends in collaborative projects. Do encourage your child to log on and join in the fun (see Links)!

We are pleased to welcome our friends from Lewis Lane Playgroup who now operate from our site. This has the benefit of enabling children to get used to the school environment during the transition to "big" school, although there are a number of other groups in the area that we work with prior to children starting in Reception.
